How does the light curtain resolve entry/exit problem?
The security module is used to temporarily stop the protection function of the protection device. This can be done using two or four sensors (such as inductive or photoelectric sensors), which are logically evaluated to determine the order in which objects pass. If the sequence is correct and all other parameters in the logic are satisfied, the object will be allowed to pass through the safety light curtain to achieve the stop function.
How does the safety laser scanner solve the entry/exit?
Actively switching protection zones provides another way to move materials to safe areas. For this application, safety laser scanners are usually used with vertical (or slightly inclined) protective fields. The appropriate protection zone in a series of pre-programmed protection zones is derived from the activation of corresponding signals from the machine controller and appropriately placed sensors. The contour of the protective area is designed so that the passage of material will not cause the protective device to activate, and any unmonitored area can be reached to prevent detected entry into the dangerous area.
